I Have Asked

I have asked the questions many times
Only to be ignored
I have asked the questions many times
But a choice was never made
Actually yes a choice was made
But it wasn't me, it's never me, it never was me.

But as I grew I realized
Only I can choose me and this I must accept
It is this I must believe, it is this I must trust.
Change of focus needs to begin with a hardened heart I must.

No I am not changing me, just changing my heart.
And not only temporary but for good.
So for today I apologize if I am not the same
For today I apologize if I may appear insane
For today I apologize if I am just mean
But it is so I have to be, I want to be.

My only secret is the little one who has chosen me
And for that secret and that secret only will I be the inner me.

This day today, i sit and wonder. Will I not have that significant other? Don't get me wrong, i love, love my daughter, She sustains my life and keeps insanity under. The REAL Me

Who Am I? I ask myself. Sometimes I am weird, weird that even I laugh at myself. Sometimes I am silly. When all alone I do funny moves sounds and faces. Sometimes a little crazy! I talk to myself outloud and yes I do answer. Sometimes i become overwhelmed for no reason at all.
